A tour of the Webchatix web dashboard: where everything lives
Answering customers is easiest from Telegram; setting up sites, the team and routes happens in the web dashboard. A short walk through its sections.
Webchatix has two workplaces. Operators live in Telegram: that is where requests arrive and where replies go out from. Everything you set up once and then only fine-tune — sites, the team, routes, the plan — is collected in the web dashboard. Let’s go through it section by section, so it is clear where to look for each setting.
Getting in
The dashboard has no passwords. Send the bot /panel or tap “Web dashboard” in the menu, and you will get a one-time login link that stays valid for about ten minutes. The fallback is a token on the login page. Want to see what it all looks like before signing up? Open the demo dashboard: it has made-up sites and dialogs, and everything is read-only.
Overview
The start page: how many sites and operators you have, how many dialogs are open and claimed, and the latest requests. This is also where the company name lives and, for the account owner, the CRM bridge — a switch and the webhook address your dialogs will be sent to.
Sites
This is where you create a site and grab the snippet — a single <script> line that goes right before </body>. The gear icon next to a site opens every widget setting: title and greeting, opening hours and time zone, button colour and position, language, allowed origins, the GDPR consent checkbox and the AI responder. The full list of fields is in the documentation.
Operators
Team members, invites and roles: owner, admin, operator. Telegram groups show up here too, if requests are handled in a shared team chat. Groups, by the way, do not count towards your plan’s operator limit — a handy way to bring a whole department into support.
Routes
Who receives dialogs from which site and which pages. The cart can go to sales and the rest of the site to support; we covered how to think this through in the post on routing requests across the team.
Dialogs
The full conversation history for every site. You can see who is handling a customer, release a dialog, leave a note for colleagues or check the rating the visitor gave. Notes and ratings are available from the Basic plan up.
Templates
Canned replies to common questions, plus a summary of ratings. In Telegram a template is sent with a single button as a reply to the dialog, but the list itself is easier to edit here. The section opens on paid plans — see the comparison on the pricing page.
Billing
Your current plan, this month’s usage against the limits, plan changes and every payment with links to PDF invoices. Payments go through Stripe, and card details never touch our servers.
Where to start
A typical first day goes like this: create a site and paste the snippet, invite your operators, set up routes — then send a test message to the chat from your own phone. If something goes wrong, check the FAQ or get in touch.
