Free, Basic or Unlimited: which plan to choose
The Free plan is enough to try the chat on a live site. Here is how to tell when it is time to move up.
Picking a plan before the chat is even running is guesswork. That is why everything in Webchatix starts for free: the /start command in the bot instantly creates an account on Free along with your first site. From there the decision is made on numbers, not gut feeling. Here is what to watch.
Free: test the idea
One site, one operator and up to 30 clients a month. That is enough to install the widget, answer the first requests from Telegram and find out whether your visitors write into the chat at all. Replies from Telegram, dialog history and file sharing are all included already — the free plan is not cut down to a demo.
What counts as a client
A client is a unique visitor who started a dialog in the current calendar month. Someone who merely opened the site does not count; someone who wrote five times counts once. The counter resets on the first of the month, and your current usage is shown in the dashboard under “Billing”.
Basic: when the chat becomes a real channel
Basic costs $10 a month and lifts the main limits: up to 20 sites, up to 1000 clients a month and up to 5 operators. More importantly, it adds the tools without which a stream of requests quickly turns into a grind: canned reply templates, notes for colleagues, dialog ratings, active invites and rules for showing the widget on the right pages. Signs it is time: you have hit 30 clients, more than one person answers the chat, or the same replies get typed ten times a day.
Unlimited: no ceiling
$20 a month and no limits on sites, clients or operators. This plan is for agencies that install the chat for their clients, and for companies with heavy traffic or many websites. The features are the same as Basic; the only difference is that the ceilings are gone.
How to save
Paying yearly makes both paid plans 20% cheaper: Basic comes to $8 a month and Unlimited to $16, charged as a single payment. Another way is Telegram groups: they do not take up a slot in the operator limit, so you can bring a whole department into support even on Basic.
No risk
You can change or cancel your plan at any time. If you switch mid-period, Stripe prorates the amount, and after cancelling, the paid plan keeps working until the end of the paid term — only then does the account go back to Free, with your sites and history left in place.
Where to find the details
Current prices and a feature comparison are on the pricing page; the limits table and payment details are in the documentation. Answers to common questions are collected in the FAQ, and if you need a custom option for an agency or a large team, get in touch.
